How to Reach Us
The SandPit Theatre is situated within the grounds of Sandringham School in the heart of the Marshalswick residential area. In order to minimise disturbance to our neighbours could we please ask that when visiting us either by car or taxi that you use one of the two school car parks which you can access via the main entrance or the deliveries entrance, both off The Ridgeway.
By Car
The SandPit Theatre is 10 minutes drive from St Albans City Centre, signposted from the A1081 and A1057, and 10 minutes from Junction 22, M25. Free car parking is available directly outside the venue. (If using a Sat Nav please use the following postcode AL4 9NX).
By Train
The SandPit Theatre is two miles from St Albans City Station and can be accessed by taxi, bus or a 30 minute walk.
By Bus
Take the S8/9 Uno bus service from St Albans City Centre (Stop 13) or the 653 to Welwyn Garden City via Stop A at St Albans City Station, stopping opposite Quantock Close. Alternatively you can also use the S3 Uno bus service to Marshalswick.
